the name alone screams creativity,

wouldn't you agree??

sisters jen + heather have always been accused of being twins, 

{even though they're three years apart in age}

are very very close, and live across the country from each other. 

six years ago heather moved from salt lake city, ut to durham, nc. 

together they created squackdoodle to help them keep in touch.

hooray for crafting!

both sisters love pops of color, 

whimsical, kitschy things, {especially in the house} 

and have very similar tastes -- fun but also functional. 

i am beyond thrilled to welcome them as our first official

"traders of the day!!!"

the name squackdoodle came from jen + heather's grandfather. 

as children he called them squackdoodle and doodlesquack.
